Cafe Anor & Ringo (formerly the Glock), aka my new favorite place I had their clam spaghetti and found it to be transcendent - somehow subtle and yet featuring every bold flavor possible from dry chili to ginger to crunchy onion to soy and of course clams. Sublime! I had that with the set, and admittedly the miso soup was itself not worth a brag, but the sides were pleasant and the rose lemon water very refreshing (and nice to look at). I finished with the burnt cheesecake, which had a lovely texture - not too firm, not too soft, not too “cake-y.” They offer an eclectic mix of Asian fusion, particularly highlighting Japanese and Thai, as well as their native HK. They also do an extensive range of coffees and teas, as well as running a consignment shop of various homemade goods. In the midst of all the eclecticism is a very specific vision by the eponymous Anor and Ringo duo, and that intentionality comes through from the quirky design elements to the seemingly odd menu to the music playing overhead. It just works!

This hidden gem is a must for any coffee lovers looking for something new! The "Caff-tails" are an excellent spread of uniquely Asian takes on coffees, from South Korea to Thailand to Hong Kong (I particularly recommend the Hong Kong Milk Tea inspired 'Dirty' and the Thai inspired 'Chakafe'), that are a welcome break from the usual ways of getting your caffeine fix. The food is also amazing, the signature Tom Yum Seafood Spaghetti is a delightful spicy journey in a bowl, and the Grilled Mackerel Rice is a lovely umami hit. If that sounds a bit heavy, they also do a more traditional range of coffees and teas, and have a range of meticulously put together pastries and cakes - get them fast, because they go quick!

Small place, but super cozy with a nice artsy vibe. The menu isn’t huge, but every dish we tried was top quality and really well-priced. We had the Thai-style clam pasta, Japanese curry rice with egg, and seafood ochazuke — you can really tell the chef puts a lot of heart into the food. The coffee was also fantastic. What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional. I accidentally knocked over my drink, and they cleaned it up right away — super polite about it — and even brought me a fresh one without any fuss. Truly top-notch service. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

The restaurant has a very unique and cozy interior with lots of character. I ordered a Thai-style coffee, which was rich and fragrant, not overly sweet, and so enjoyable that I kept wanting another sip. For dinner, I had the Tom Yum seafood pasta — generous with ingredients like prawns, mussels, and squid. The two big prawns were torched, giving them an extra smoky aroma. The sauce was tangy, spicy, and full of depth. A truly satisfying dinner!

The cakes and breads have unique flavors, especially the matcha and coffee, which are very rich and smooth. Combined with the distinctive decor, it's a very unique shop

I have no words for this cafe. It is everything and more, it's a dream. The food is divine, the drinks are magical, the staff are gems. The vibe is soft and cosy, super comfortable and well thought, you can tell that they put intention into every detail and every step. There is a lovely selection of objects for sale (perfect for gifts) as well as some art, delicious cakes, great selection of teas and home roasted coffees... Service is impecable, price is very reasonable for such high quality. Perfect place for a cosy catch up with friends or a moment to breathe, slow down and feel safe.
